Qualifications

• 120 Hour Rescue Technician and related certifications listed in job quals.

Responsibilities

• Assigns personnel to shifts and plans daily schedules, coordinating rescue resources.
• Supervises rigging and use of technical rescue equipment.
• Monitors equipment, inventory, maintenance, and procurement requests.
• Provides leadership to achieve health and safety goals and ensures compliance.
• Oversees HR functions: performance appraisals, coaching and development.
• Reviews rescue preplans and RSA; coordinates with IC and EMS.
• Coordinates with EMS and governmental agencies via Incident Command System.
• May fill in or handle excess rescue workload as needed.
