Qualifications

• 80 Hour Rescue Technician certification
• At least 1 year field experience in rescue or related setting
• Confined Space Entrant/Attendant certification and healthcare provider CPR
• First Aid with AED and First Responder/ECA certification or higher
• 4-Gas Monitor operation training and familiarity with hazardous environments
• ICS 100/200/700/800 training and Hazmat technician background
• Proven proficiency in rescue operations and safety risk assessment

Responsibilities

• Provide technical rescue standby for customer projects including confined space and rope rescue
• Assess risks, prep rescue equipment, and plan safe working practices
• Respond to incidents—locate patient, package for extrication, and coordinate with EMS
• Conduct daily job briefings and monitor conditions/equipment readiness
• Maintain and inventory rescue gear and complete ICS reports
• May supervise rescue teams and provide hazard control recommendations
