Job summary

NuSources in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a detail-driven inventory specialist who can quickly assess unmanifested goods, assign brand relevance and grades, and execute on-floor sorting aligned with the Product Owner's strategy.

You will learn ShipHero WMS, adapt to shifting priorities, and contribute to reducing idle capital while growing into floor leadership as you prove reliability and product instinct.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of resale, returns, retail, or personal reselling.
• Experience in a warehouse, returns, retail, or fulfillment environment.
• Willingness to learn WMS systems and warehouse operations from the ground up.
• Physical ability to stand for long shifts and move inventory.

Responsibilities

• Real-Time Valuation: eyeball raw inventory and categorize by brand relevance, condition, and resale velocity.
• Assortment Control: determine when high‑value items need deeper SKUs to protect assortment quality.
• Executing the Vision: translate Product Owner strategy into floor actions and adjust priorities as buying changes.
• The Feedback Loop: work with Product Owner to maximize ROI and flag shifts in inventory quality.
• Learning the Systems: training on ShipHero WMS—SKU structure, bin logic, labels, and inventory integrity.

Compensation: Starting at $27.00 per hour

The Mission

We're looking for someone with a genuine eye for product: someone who can glance at a pile of unmanifested goods and instantly know what's worth pulling, what brand tier it sits in, and what condition grade it deserves. That kind of instinct is hard to find. The systems, the leadership side, the WMS, that's all part of the role too, but it starts with knowing a good product when you see it.

The Daily Hustle

• Real-Time Valuation: You're the "Human Algorithm." You eyeball raw inventory from unmanifested buys and instantly categorize it by brand relevance, condition, and resale velocity.
• Assortment Control: You have the tactical intuition to know when a high-value item needs a deep SKU to separate it from the pack, protecting assortment quality in every outgoing order.
• Executing the Vision: You take the Product Owner's strategy and make it real on the floor, adjusting priorities as the "buy" changes.
• The Feedback Loop: You work with the Product Owner to maximize ROI, flagging shifts in inventory quality that should inform buying or sorting decisions.
• Learning the Systems: You'll be trained on ShipHero (our WMS): SKU structure, bin logic, label accuracy, until inventory integrity after your sort is second nature.
• Growing Into Leadership: You'll work alongside our tenured floor team and, over time, take on more responsibility for guiding their day-to-day priorities, earned through being sharp and reliable.
• High-Impact Versatility: When active sorting is complete, switch gears into inventory audits and stagnant stock management to ensure no capital is sitting idle on the shelves.

Who You Are

• Reseller DNA: You have flipped items on the side or spent years in high-volume returns. You know the feel of quality and can spot a B-grade write-off from ten feet away.
• Detail Oriented: You take pride in getting labels, counts, and grades right, and you catch mistakes before they become problems.
• Coachable & Systems-Minded: You're comfortable learning a new WMS and process-driven environment. Prior ShipHero/Logiwa/Linnworks experience is a plus.
• Leadership Potential: Prior experience leading, training, or mentoring others is a strong plus, but not required. We're open to someone ready to grow into it.
