Job summary

Rink Management Services Corporation in Reston, VA is seeking a Seasonal Facility Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the rink, programs, events and the facility itself.

You will supervise rink staff, assist in scheduling within the payroll budget, and ensure cash handling accuracy while maintaining a clean, safe environment. This role requires professional communication and availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2 years of demonstrated work experience in an ice rink or recreational facility or equivalent.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Prior management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willing to comply with all federal, state, and local COVID mandates/guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations that include, but are not limited to, programs, events and physical facilities.
• Execute policies and procedures professionally and accurately.
• Supervise the rink employees to include assisting in scheduling staff with attention to the payroll budget.
• Immediate and complete reporting of all liability issues.
• Responsible for all cash handling including reconciling petty cash daily, and daily bank deposits.
• Maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Communicate professionally verbally and in writing.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
