Qualifications

• 2 years of demonstrated work experience in ice rink or recreational facility or equivalent.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Prior management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be willing to comply with all federal, state, and local COVID mandates/guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations that include, but are not limited to, programs, events and physical facilities.
• Execute policies and procedures professionally and accurately.
• Supervise the rink employees to include assisting in scheduling staff with attention to the payroll budget.
• Possess the knowledge of all the rink positions and the ability to work in that capacity as required.
• Immediate and complete reporting of all liability issues.
• Responsible for all cash handling including reconciling petty cash daily, and daily bank deposits.
• Maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Communicate professionally verbally and in writing.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Work may be required indoor and outdoor.Additional Conditions:* Use of standard office equipment that includes computers and software packages, fax and copy machines, telephones, and cash registers* Use of maintenance and cleaning equipment that includes ice resurfacing machines, ice maintenance equipment, skate sharpeners, vacuums, mops, and any other equipment associated with use in a recreational facility**Physical Requirements**This position can involve sitting, standing, walking, running, stooping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and ice skating.
