Job summary

Sherpa 6, Inc is seeking a Requirements/Systems Engineer to develop and expand requirements traceability across multiple programs and for companywide initiatives. The role supports software development, documentation, and risk tracking within a CI/CD environment to enhance Army warfighting capabilities.

Ideal candidates will have a BS in Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, SME in Jama, and demonstrated systems engineering across multiple integration programs.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering and 5 years of related experience.
• SME in the use of Jama.
• Demonstrated systems engineering experience on multiple integration programs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time and develop SE products across multiple programs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills in resolving issues with complex requirements traceability tracking.
• Superior verbal and writing communication skills.
• Experience using AI tools to improve products and efficiency.
• Experience with systems engineering processes and related SE product development.

Responsibilities

• Integrate requirements traceability across multiple programs, primarily linked to software development and tools like Jira and Test.
• Support customer requirements documentation, requirements traceability, and program risk identification and tracking.
• Facilitate design, development, and integration of technologies in systems fielded to warfighters.
• Lead requirements traceability work integrated with Jira-based software development processes.
• Collaborate with SMEs, software developers, and document requirements to customer priorities.
