Job summary

Sherpa 6, Inc. is seeking a Requirements/Systems Engineer to develop and expand requirements traceability across programs, especially software development.

You will collaborate with the software team to document requirements, assess risks, and ensure alignment with customer priorities on-site at Aberdeen Proving Ground in MD. The role demands strong systems engineering experience, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment supporting Army

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering and 5 years of related experience.
• SME in the use of Jama.
• Demonstrated systems engineering experience on multiple integration programs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time and development of SE products across multiple programs simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills in resolving issues with complex requirements traceability tracking.
• Superior verbal and writing communication skills.
• Experience using AI tools to improve products and efficiency.
• Experience with systems engineering processes and related SE product development.

Responsibilities

• Integrate requirements traceability across multiple programs, primarily linked to software development and related tools and processes (Jira, Test).
• Collaborate with Sherpa 6 software development team and support customer requirements documentation and traceability, and track program risks.
• Facilitate design, development, and integration of technologies in systems fielded to warfighters; ensure traceability with Jira-based SDLC.
• Work with SMEs, software developers, and document requirements aligned to customer priorities.
