About the Position:

Serves as a Requirements and Combat Development Specialist for the Joint Activities located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Only resumes up to a total of two pages will be accepted.

Specialized Experience GS-12:

One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) tracking project schedules, budgets, and procurement documentation to assist with the routine lifecycle management of organizational systems; AND 2.) Gathering operational performance data and capability metrics to support qualitative analyses of organizational readiness and efficiency; AND 3.) Identifying routine operational shortfalls and resource issues to help higher level analysts formulate effective corrective actions; AND 4.) Compiling research findings and technical data to assist management with briefings that advance organizational mission objectives..

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

Conducting qualitative analyses of operational capabilities and performance criteria to measure organizational readiness and efficiency; AND 3.) Recommending corrective actions and technical solutions to resolve potential operational shortfalls and resource issues; AND 4.) Presenting research findings and technical recommendations to management to support the advancement of organizational mission objectives.
