This role is part of the Business Selection, Conflicts, and Reputation Risk (“BSCR”) team. The team focuses on vetting opportunities, managing client relationships, and mitigating conflicts and reputation risks to protect Citi.

The SVP will support the Head of BSCR in overseeing reputation risk and referrals across Banking & International sectors. The role requires expertise in reputation risk management, understanding banking products, and working closely with deal teams and control functions to ensure informed decision-making aligned with Citi’s risk framework.

The ideal candidate is proactive, commercially aware, experienced in risk management, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment engaging with senior stakeholders. Interests in current affairs, geopolitics, and emerging risks are valued, along with strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities:

• Review and assess reputation risk referrals across Banking & International.
• Coordinate with business and control teams to ensure consistent application of the risk framework.
• Prepare materials for review forums and document meetings.
• Develop and improve reputation risk processes, procedures, and training.
• Report on risk trends and emerging issues.
• Assist with regulatory or audit responses related to reputation risk.
• Support the broader BSCR team as needed.

• 5+ years of experience in banking or risk management at a financial institution.
• Knowledge of risk management and banking products/services.
