Job summary

LifeLong Medical Care in Richmond, CA, seeks a Core Faculty member specializing in Reproductive Health to join the Family Medicine Residency Program at the William Jenkins Health Center. This role emphasizes clinical leadership, resident mentorship, and delivering high-quality care to underserved populations.

Core Faculty dedicate 40% time to residency training and provide full-scope primary care in the faculty/residency clinic 60% of the time.

Qualifications

• California CNM license or furnishing license required.
• ABFM Certification required.
• Experience delivering perinatal and gynecological care across lifespan preferred.
• Community clinic experience preferred.
• Dedicated ~24 hours/week to residency training.
• Strong interest in residency education and workforce development.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Family Medicine residents in faculty/residency clinic with appropriate supervision ratios.
• Attend to resident work hours and wellbeing; role model professional conduct.
• Lead and participate in didactics (journal clubs, lectures, conferences).
• Evaluate residents using competency-based/milestones and direct observation.
• Coordinate QA/QI and scholarly activity with residents.
• Mentor residents on career goals and development.
• Serve on residency program committees per ACGME requirements.
• Duties include full-scope outpatient primary care in clinic as assigned.
