Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, Inc. is seeking a Reproductive Health Assistant to support direct patient care and health education in a busy health center in Austin. You will greet patients, obtain medical history, and assist clinicians with procedures and education on reproductive health services.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year in a healthcare or customer service setting. Excellent communication, empathy, and accuracy with medical records are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year in customer service or healthcare.
• Experience with health records and patient data is preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish/English may be required where noted.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, collect demographics and medical history.
• Perform check-in/check-out and update patient charts.
• Educate patients about services, birth control, STI and pregnancy options.
• Assist with injections and lab testing as needed.
• Triage calls to clinicians and monitor follow-up needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and assist with front desk duties.
