Planned Parenthood of Illinois is seeking a Reproductive Health Assistant to provide direct clinical support for family planning, medication abortion, and procedural abortion services. You will prepare patients, assist clinicians, record vital information, and help ensure safe, timely and patient‑centered care.

Occasional front desk coverage may be assigned. Ideal candidates have at least one year of EHR use, with Epic experience preferred and completion of an accredited medical assisting

Competenze

• Graduation from a CAAHEP or ABHES‑accredited medical assisting program (strongly preferred).
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) required; Epic experience strongly preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepare patients and rooms; document vitals, histories, medications, and allergies.
• Assist with family planning, medication and procedural abortions, and ultrasound support as trained.
• Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, and point‑of‑care testing.
• Manage patient flow, register or schedule coverage as needed.
• Document care in the EHR and maintain infection prevention and safety standards.
• Deliver respectful, confidential care and communicate clearly with patients and colleagues.
