Job summary

NYULFC is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible REI physician for a full-time surgical coverage role. This position does not include a patient panel, clinic hours, or continuity of care responsibilities — it is dedicated to OR-based procedural coverage and associated call.

Responsibilities include performing transvaginal oocyte retrievals, embryo transfers, D&C and related gynecologic procedures, and taking call for urgent retrievals on a rotating basis, coordinating with anesthesia and lab

Qualifications

• MD/DO with REI fellowship training is required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in REI.
• Active or eligible NY medical license.

• Perform embryo transfers.

• Take call for urgent/after-hours retrievals, transfers, and related procedures on a rotating basis


• Coordinate with the anesthesiologists, embryology lab, surgical and recovery teams to ensure smooth OR flow


• Maintain procedural documentation and case logs per NYULFC protocol

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated OR proficiency in ART procedures


• Ability to commit to a full-time OR block schedule plus rotating call

Schedule:

Full-time, dedicated OR schedule + call rotation (no clinic), may include weekend coverage
Part-time schedules may be considered
