Job summary

NYU Langone Fertility Center in New York is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible REI physician for a full-time OR-based surgical coverage role. This position does not include a patient panel or clinic hours and focuses on procedures and rotating calls.

The role requires REI fellowship training, an active NY medical license, and proven proficiency in ART procedures. You will coordinate closely with anesthesia, embryology, and surgical teams to maintain smooth OR flow and accurate case

Qualifications

• MD/DO with REI fellowship training required.
• Board Certification or eligibility in REI necessary.
• Active or eligible New York medical license required.
• Demonstrated OR proficiency in ART procedures.
• Ability to commit to a full-time OR block schedule with rotating call.

Responsibilities

• Perform transvaginal oocyte retrievals.
• Perform embryo transfers.
• Perform D&C and related gynecologic procedures as needed.
• Take call for urgent/after-hours retrievals, transfers, and related procedures on a rotating basis.
• Coordinate with anesthesiologists, embryology lab, surgical and recovery teams to ensure smooth OR flow.
• Maintain procedural documentation and case logs per NYULFC protocol.
