Job Description

As a Represented Moderate Adjuster, your main focus will be investigating automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles that result in property damage and/or bodily injury, with an attorney involved. You will work remotely from your home, efficiently handling your responsibilities. Your tasks include assessing coverage, liability, and damages, while providing exceptional customer service through various communication channels such as voice calls, email, and text messages. Using innovative platforms and tools, you will engage in negotiations to reach fair injury settlements with all parties involved.

The individual selected will join a team primarily handling claims in Georgia.

Key Roles

1. Customer Service Expert: Demonstrate empathy, clarity, and commitment to caring, empowering, and restoring in each casualty claim.
2. Investigator: Independently investigate casualty claims by reviewing damages and interpreting policies to determine coverage.
3. Effective Communicator: Use phone, email, and video chat to guide customers through a fast, fair, and easy claims process, respecting their communication preferences.
4. Negotiator: Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants, following legal and business standards.
5. Problem Solver: Utilize tools like estimate platforms and settlement systems, applying critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment.
6. Recorder: Ensure accurate documentation of each claim in the claims system, safeguarding the company's financial interests.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of 3rd Party Bodily Injury Claims handling experience.
• 2-5 years of claims experience in Georgia.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time effectively.
• Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability.
• Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.
• Experience with claims evaluation tools and platforms.

Remote Work Requirements

This is a permanent remote role within the United States, excluding California, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Requirements include a dedicated home office, minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up, and appropriate workspace and seating.

Licensing and Sign-On Bonus
