Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience or High School/GED with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience required.
Skills/Abilities:
Job Summary:
Performs collection activities within the department and with outside Collection Agencies to ensure prompt, courteous, and proper collections in adherence with Regulatory Guidelines and State Law.
Work closely with various Collection Agencies to ensure accurate reporting of our write-off accounts.
Responsible for Collection Agency Reporting, Fraud Reporting, reviewing deceased accounts, settled accounts, and fraud reporting; manage the collection agency inbox; respond to internal and external customers via e-mail. Report payments posted to Treasury promptly; handle discrepancies with bank errors between the Collection Agencies and Treasury.
Support with medicals and medical renewals.
Major Roles and Responsibilities:
The salary range for this position is dependent on experience level from $19 per hour to $29 per hour.
