Alfa Insurance® - Michael Bowden Agency in Villa Rica, GA seeks an Insurance Sales Representative focused on service excellence and growth. You will assist agents with sales and clerical tasks to write and service existing customers while pursuing new business opportunities.

Independent contractor agents may be involved; staff for those agents are employees of the agent, not Alfa Insurance. A proactive team player with strong communication will thrive.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to attain Insurance Producer license within 45 days of hire.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and have an aptitude for learning new programs and procedures.
• Team player with a positive, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new business in multi-line insurance, quoting and binding policies, handling customer inquiries, documenting requests and completing changes, accept and process premiums.
• Provide strong customer service across multiple platforms; resolve conflicts and adapt to fast-paced environment.
• Support the agent and service center staff as needed.
• Make decisions to determine applicant insurability and placement using binding and processing applications.
• Ensure effective operation of the service center including reports, documentation, and mail distribution.

Job Summary

• Ensure effective operation of the service center including but not limited to: reports, documentation, and mail distribution.
