The South Carolina Department of Social Services seeks a County Attorney I to provide professional legal services for county offices, adoption offices, and licensing offices in Family Court.
Under supervision for one year, you will draft pleadings, interview witnesses, participate in hearings, and assist in trial preparation, while protecting PII and using the Legal Case Management System for documentation.

A Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA accredited law school
Necessary Special Requirement: Must become a member of the SC BAR within the first 6 (six) months of employment.
Must possess a valid driver's license. The employee must be able to communicate effectively (written and orally) and write legibly. May be required to work after hours and/or some overnight travel and must be able to lift approximately 15-20 lbs.
