State of South Carolina Department of Social Services seeks a County Attorney I to provide professional legal services for county offices, adoptions, and licensing, including Family Court matters related to child welfare, foster care, and economic services.
You will draft pleadings, interview witnesses, assist in trials, and use the Legal Case Management System; participate in trainings and staff meetings; ensure PII protection and safeguard agency data.

A Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA accredited law school
Necessary Special Requirement: Must become a member of the SC BAR within the first 6 (six) months of employment.
