Repossession Agent / Tow Truck Driver

Four Star Recovery Inc. is seeking a dependable, experienced, and motivated Repossession Agent / Tow Truck Driver to join our team in Modesto, California!

This is a full-time position with vehicle repossessions as the primary responsibility, along with regular towing assignments and police department/California Highway Patrol (CHP) rotation calls.

We're looking for an experienced towing professional who takes pride in their work, prioritizes safety, communicates professionally, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Previous repossession experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has the necessary towing experience, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

IMPORTANT: Applicants must live within the local service area and be available for nighttime on-call rotation during the week and weekend coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repossessions professionally, safely, and in accordance with applicable laws and company procedures.
• Operate flatbed tow trucks and wreckers safely and efficiently.
• Respond to repossession assignments and complete vehicle recoveries.
• Handle regular towing assignments and police department/CHP rotation calls as needed.
• Participate in assigned nighttime on-call rotations during the week and weekend coverage.
• Safely secure, load, transport, and unload vehicles.
• Communicate professionally with law enforcement agencies, clients, and other relevant parties regarding assignments, repossessions, documentation, and required records.
• Maintain accurate and complete records for towing assignments and repossessions, including required reports, assignment details, and supporting documentation.
• Use smartphones, computers, and company software to receive assignments, document activities, submit reports, and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management to ensure assignments are completed and documented properly.
• Follow company procedures, applicable laws, and safety requirements.
• Represent Four Star Recovery Inc. professionally when interacting with customers, clients, law enforcement, and the public.
• Monitor truck and equipment safety and report maintenance concerns promptly.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years old, in accordance with company insurance requirements.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Valid identification and authorization to work in the United States.
• Minimum of 2 years of towing experience operating both flatbed tow trucks and wreckers.
• Ability to operate towing equipment safely and professionally.
• Comfortable using smartphones, computers, and various software programs.
• Must reside locally in the Modesto service area to accommodate on-call responsibilities.
• Must be available for nighttime weekday on-call rotation and weekend coverage.
• Dependable, self-motivated, professional, and capable of working independently.
• Willingness to learn repossession procedures and follow company training and policies.

Repossession experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train an experienced towing professional who meets our qualifications and is eager to learn the repossession side of the business.

Compensation

Starting base salary of $5,000 per month, with opportunities to earn more!

Compensation includes:

• Base Salary: Starting at $5,000 per month, with the final amount determined by experience and qualifications.
• Performance Bonuses: Opportunities to earn additional bonuses based on performance.

• After-Hours Compensation: Additional compensation for qualifying after-hours work.

Schedule & Availability
