The Ascendancy Group LTD seeks a Reports Officer to conduct substantive reviews of intelligence content, verify facts, and ensure products are suitable for publication and the intended audience. This full-time role is contingent on contract award and requires TS/SCI clearance.

You will edit for clear presentation, identify errors, verify sources, and ensure consistency across figures and text, using ICD 200 series standards. Strong independent work and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience related to this labor category, with a portion within the last 2 years, and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Working knowledge of IC analytic tradecraft standards (ICD 203 and the ICD 200 series).
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
• Ability to produce concise, insightful and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.

As a Reports Officer, you will provide substantive review of intelligence content, verify facts, and make sure products are suitable for publication and their intended audience. Employment type Full time; contingent upon contract award.

Security Requirement

Current Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

Requirements

Required:

• Minimum 8 years of experience related to this labor category, with a portion of that experience within the last 2 years, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Working knowledge of IC analytic tradecraft standards (ICD 203 and the ICD 200 series).
• Comprehensive mission knowledge and completion of all developmental training and experiences for the labor category.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
• Ability to draw understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, or technically advanced.
• Ability to collaborate with IC partners on information sharing, driving collection and resolving analytic disputes.
• Ability to develop concise, insightful and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
• Ability to lead or guide teams researching multifaceted or critical problems.
• Knowledge of IC and DoW classification guidelines and procedures, and the ability to apply them.
• Ability to produce timely, logical, and concise reports, assessments and briefing materials using Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, with strong grammar skills.

Desired:

• Experience supporting Joint or special operations organizations.
• Ability to work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint environment.
• Experience in a deployed environment.
