Job summary

At Cavendish Nuclear, a Reporting Manager is needed to lead the delivery of accurate, timely and insight-driven performance reporting across a major clean energy programme at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset. This permanent role offers flexible working arrangements and 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You will coordinate inputs across delivery teams, produce integrated reports and develop dashboards covering schedule, cost, progress, productivity, risk and change metrics.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in project controls, programme controls or reporting environments.
  • Experience producing performance reports, dashboards and MI for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience using project controls toolsets for performance analysis and variance reporting.
  • Experience with enterprise project controls systems and reporting platforms.
  • Full project lifecycle experience from initiation through to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead production of accurate, integrated weekly and monthly performance reports.
  • Analysing trends, variances and KPIs to identify risks, opportunities and forecast impacts.
  • Coordinating reporting inputs across delivery teams, functions and alliance partners.
  • Developing integrated dashboards covering schedule, cost, progress, productivity, risk and change metrics.
  • Improving reporting effectiveness through standardisation, automation and digital reporting tools.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s vast network of rooms.

The role

As a Reporting Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of accurate, timely and insight-driven performance reporting across a major clean energy programme.

This is a permanent role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset. Flexible working arrangements are available.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
  • Leading the production of accurate, integrated weekly and monthly performance reports.
  • Analysing trends, variances and key performance indicators to identify risks, opportunities and forecast impacts.
  • Coordinating reporting inputs across delivery teams, functions and alliance partners.
  • Developing integrated dashboards covering schedule, cost, progress, productivity, risk and change metrics.
  • Improving reporting effectiveness through standardisation, automation and digital reporting tools.
Essential experience of the Reporting Manager
  • Extensive experience within project controls, programme controls or project reporting environments.
  • Strong experience producing performance reports, dashboards and management information for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience using project controls toolsets, including performance analysis, variance reporting, trend analysis and change control management.
  • Experience working with enterprise project controls systems and reporting platforms.
  • Full project lifecycle experience from project initiation through to completion.
Qualifications for the Reporting Manager
  • Degree qualified in Engineering or Project Management.
Security Clearance
