Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Develop and program controls reports to support the Program Director and Program Controls Director.
  • Lead coordination across multiple projects within the program, ensuring alignment with objectives.
  • Identify and address interdependencies; mitigate risks and resolve conflicts.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure resource availability and utilization.
  • Work with senior leadership to define and refine program-level objectives.
  • Provide guidance to project controls teams and ensure effective management of elements.
  • Facilitate clear communication between project teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, challenges and achievements.

Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Reporting Manager in Los Angeles, CA supporting our PgM team.

Program Controls is the application of Project Controls in a Program Management context. This includes the added complexity and interactions demanded from Programs such as Government legislation, Political obligations, Legacy creation, multi-partner KPIs, cross industry body creation and/or collaboration, finance partnering, contract incentivization and extensive stakeholder engagement.

  • Develop and program controls reports and projects in support of the overall Program Director and Program Controls Director
  • Leads the coordination efforts across multiple projects within the program, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives.
  • Identifies and addresses interdependencies between projects, proactively mitigating risks and resolving conflicts.
  • Collaborates with project managers to ensure adequate resource availability and utilization.
  • Works closely with senior leadership to define and refine program-level objectives.
  • Provides guidance and oversight to project controls teams, ensuring effective management of individual project elements.
  • Facilitates clear and concise communication between project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS + 8 years of experience of experience or demonstrated equivalency or experience in and or education.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with reporting management on infrastructure (transportation, water, roadways, sports) programs.
  • Experience with cost, schedule, change, document reporting pulling information from many sources including Project Management Information Systems (PMIS), Excel, Sharepoint Lists, Primavera P6.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $131000 to $240000.
