Job summary

Kforce is seeking a Reporting Dashboard Engineer in Chicago, IL to design, build, and optimize enterprise dashboards using Power BI and Tableau. You will develop data models, semantic layers, and reporting datasets to support business and regulatory needs.

Responsibilities include complex SQL development, data validation, and reconciliation, plus collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in BI reporting, analytics, dashboard development, or data engineering.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Strong experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Experience with dimensional modeling, data warehousing concepts, and star/snowflake schemas.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking a Reporting Dashboard Engineer. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial Services, Banking, Capital Markets, or Risk Management experience
• Exposure to regulatory reporting, risk reporting, or data governance initiatives
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Azure, Databricks, Synapse, Fabric, Snowflake, or similar technologies
• Knowledge of data quality controls and reporting governance best practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
