Job summary

Charter Manufacturing seeks an Reporting & Analytics Internship candidate in Mequon, WI. You will build hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking using Excel, Snowflake, Tableau, and Power BI, with exposure to SQL.

The program is part-time during the academic year (15-20 hours/week) and full-time in the summer (40 hours/week). You’ll develop communication, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a four-year Accounting or Finance degree with Sophomore status.
• GPA of 2.75 or higher.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to succeed in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain automated financial reporting dashboards and datasets.
• Prepare management reporting packages with clear financial insights.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support leadership decisions.
• Research industry trends and market insights.
• Build scenario analyses to evaluate business outcomes.
• Improve the accuracy and consistency of financial reporting.
• Document data sources, reporting processes, and underlying logic.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate manual finance processes.

About the Reporting & Analytics Internship: Build hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and KPI tracking. Strengthen your technical and analytical skills through advanced Excel, financial systems, data tools such as Snowflake, Tableau, and Power BI, and exposure to SQL, while developing business communication, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Program Structure:

Schedule: Part-time (15-20 hours/week) during the academic year and full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer.

Location: Mequon, WI Start Date: May 2027 Duration: Year-round internship

What we're looking for:

• Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Ability to succeed in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred experience:

• Accounting or Finance major with multiple related courses completed toward major.
• Strong attention to details, accuracy, and reliability.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Oracle experience.
