The Enterprise Reporting Architect is a hands-on, individual contributor responsible for defining, designing, and developing enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. This role combines reporting strategy, architecture, governance, and hands‑on delivery to create scalable, secure, and business‑aligned reporting capabilities that support operational, tactical, and executive decision‑making.
The successful candidate will establish reporting standards, data models, visualization frameworks, and analytics architectures while directly building reports, dashboards, scorecards, and other BI deliverables. This is not a people leadership role and requires active report and dashboard development.
Define and maintain enterprise reporting strategy, architecture, standards, and roadmap.
Design scalable reporting ecosystems integrating multiple data sources, platforms, and BI technologies.
Establish standards for semantic models, KPI frameworks, dashboard design, metadata management, and reporting governance.
Align reporting capabilities with business objectives and enterprise data strategy.
Evaluate and recommend BI, analytics, and AI‑enabled reporting capabilities.
Design and develop enterprise reports, dashboards, scorecards, and visualization solutions.
Create reporting architectures that support executive reporting, operational reporting, self‑service analytics, and performance management.
Build reusable reporting assets, templates, and design patterns.
Develop reporting solutions leveraging cloud‑based data environments and enterprise data platforms.
Apply security, governance, and compliance standards within reporting solutions.
Partner with business stakeholders and leadership teams to translate business objectives into reporting capabilities.
Design executive dashboards and decision‑support reporting solutions.
Establish data storytelling and visualization standards that promote actionable insights.
Deliver reporting products that communicate trends, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics.
Define standards for metric consistency, reporting quality, and enterprise reporting governance.
Support common data models and data standardization frameworks, including Common Event Model (CEM) where applicable.
Collaborate with governance, security, and data management teams to ensure reporting compliance and data quality.
Promote trusted and sustainable reporting practices across the organization.
Evaluate emerging BI, analytics, and AI‑enabled reporting capabilities.
Support advanced reporting features including natural language query, predictive insights, automated narratives, and AI‑assisted analytics.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting scalability, usability, and insight
generation through modern technologies.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, engineering teams, and reporting developers.
Gather requirements and translate business needs into reporting solutions.
Provide architectural guidance and reporting best practices across initiatives.
Build alignment around reporting strategy, standards, and implementation approaches.
7+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting architecture, analytics, or related disciplines.
Enterprise‑level experience designing reporting architectures and business intelligence solutions.
Proven hands‑on experience developing reports, dashboards, scorecards, and self‑service reporting solutions.
Experience translating business requirements into scalable reporting products.
Strong executive stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience integrating multiple data sources and platforms into enterprise reporting solutions.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
Experience with Common Event Model (CEM) or similar data standardization frameworks.
Experience supporting enterprise reporting transformation initiatives.
Familiarity with AI‑enabled BI capabilities, including:
Predictive analytics
Automated insight generation
Machine learning‑enhanced reporting
Conversational BI
Experience evaluating or implementing AI/ML‑enabled analytics capabilities within enterprise reporting environments.
Consulting or contract engagement experience.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $36.87/hour - $57.61/hour. Our offered benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
