Jump Trading Group is seeking a Repo Trader to manage the financing of the firm’s fixed income assets, interacting with APAC and US teams to support global Treasury initiatives. The role focuses on optimizing funding across repo and related channels, building strong counterparty relationships, and driving automation to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, accounting, finance, CS, or related fields.
• 5+ years of buy/sell side repo trading or supporting desks in a technical/quant role.
• Technically fluent in Python or other programming languages.
• Sound understanding of short term rates and money markets; STIR a plus.
• Cross-asset financing knowledge is a plus.
• Strong ability to build internal and external partnerships.
• Experience driving automation and process improvements.
• Reliable and consistent availability.

Responsabilités

• Manage and optimize financing for the fixed income portfolio across repo, TRS, and other channels, with focus in Europe.
• Partner with Traders & Portfolio Managers to provide market color, pricing analysis, and counterparty intelligence.
• Build and maintain relationships with funding counterparties to improve pricing and access.
• Work cross-functionally with business teams to support new business activity.
• Drive strategic initiatives to optimize funding of a growing FI portfolio.
• Assist various regional teams and Group Treasurer with cash and collateral management.
• Deal with foreign exchange and money market instruments as needed.
• Analyze PnL and cost allocations for regional trade activity.
• Negotiate and manage margin terms with counterparties.
• Support risk, back office, and automation of processes; develop new procedures.
