Job summary

Nomura Holdings, Inc. in New York seeks a Repo Operations Vice President to oversee settlements and funding activities across multiple desks. You will lead a team, manage pricing, reprices, and funding across entities, while ensuring efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction.

The role requires 7+ years in repo operations, 3+ years of leadership, and deep knowledge of fixed income products and market infrastructures. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Repo Operations at a broker dealer is required.
• 3+ years management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with fixed income products a must.
• Self-motivated, customer focused, innovative and analytical.
• Ability to prioritize workflow and handle high pressure situations.
• Knowledge of APEX(Martini), IMPACT(BR), Loanet, BONY BDC, DTCC, FICC (RTTM/GCF & DVP) is preferred.
• ECN Products: BrokerTec or TradeWeb, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple funding desks across over 10 traders with pricing and funding across entities.
• Assist funding desks in trade processing and inter-life functions (reprices, re-rates, rolls, substitutions, reconciliations).
• Provide input in developing new trading strategies and operational flows.
• Support a multitude of finance types such as repo, tri-party, sec lending, buy-sell backs, structured repo settling via Fed, DTC, Euro-C clear and Local markets.
• Cultivate relationships with the business to maximize funding potential, compliance and communication.
• Assist with identifying and implementing areas for improvement within existing operational and technical processes.
• Resolve issues and minimize client impact.
• Perform activities related to upgrades of existing services
• Participate in updating and maintaining procedure documentation

Role Description:

• Please note this role starts at 7AM
• Support multiple funding desks consisting of over 10 traders across multiple fixed income security products while playing a daily role in position management, pricing and funding across multiple entities in the most efficient, compliant and cost-effective manner.
