We are seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) within the Global Parts & Services organization to serve as the primary contact for customers in an assigned territory. The role involves identifying replacement parts, generating sales opportunities, providing quotations, and managing order entry and execution. The CSR reports to the Product Support Group Manager and is responsible for entering all quote and order requests into the system, including document uploads, and initiating the routing process for quote development or order processing. The CSR may also provide direct quotes based on stocked and priced parts. Developing relationships with Sales, Service, Project Specialists, and Customers is essential to support and grow current business levels.

• Serve as the primary contact for customers requesting replacement parts, including B&W boiler and environmental parts.
• Initiate processes for quote preparation and order fulfillment.
• Receive and process all quote and order requests.
• Enter quotes and orders into the system, beginning the routing process as needed.
• Document customer inquiries and assist in developing scope of orders and quotes.
• Expedite quotes and orders through the process when necessary.
• Ensure quotes and orders meet quality requirements and present acknowledgments to customers.
• Review customer purchase orders against quotes to verify details like lead time, quantities, and prices.
• Monitor shipment reports and communicate with customers about delivery updates and changes.
• Collaborate with District Engineers, Field Service personnel, and Project Specialists to support the customer territory.
• Research parts based on customer or sales information and identify when additional support is needed.
• Maintain excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Utilize computer skills for data entry and document management.
• Possess customer relations skills or inside sales experience.
• Preferred knowledge includes PLM, Visibility, Data Warehouse, Oracle, and Global Parts processes, as well as engineering and manufacturing requirements of B&W parts.
• An Associate degree in Business or Technology, or equivalent knowledge, is preferred.
