Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Chandler, AZ. You will build, repair and test multimillion-dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment in a cleanroom, performing electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting and audits to ensure parts readiness.

You will document progress, test to specifications, and assist with software installations as needed. The role requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, with the ability to follow

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
Ability to follow standard operation procedures (written and verbal).
Knowledge of basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists to build, repair and test equipment.
Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under supervision.
Receive parts, inspect for defects, and improve processes.
Use test fixtures and measurement equipment to test assemblies and components.
Complete data entry and documentation; perform software installs if needed.
