Job summary

Applied Materials in Austin, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to build, repair, and test multimillion‑dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment. Responsibilities

• Use work orders and schematics to build, repair and test equipment.
• Operate under moderate supervision to perform electro‑mechanical assembly, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Receive parts and perform audits to ensure availability and inspect for defects; troubleshoot and improve processes.
• Use test fixtures and measurement equipment to test assemblies and components.
• Complete required documentation and perform software installs if needed.
