Job summary

JobSquad is seeking a Repair Technician II in Coral Gables, FL to troubleshoot, repair, and test electronic and avionics equipment including communication, navigation, and flight control panels.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years electronics experience, an Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent, and strong skills with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering. FAA-related repair experience is a plus, with ERP-tracked workflow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years electronics experience; avionics experience preferred.
• Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent military/technical experience.
• Strong electronic troubleshooting skills and ability to read schematics.
• Experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment.
• Soldering experience preferred, FAA documentation familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment to the component level.
• Test and diagnose circuit boards and electronic components.
• Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other test equipment.
• Replace defective electronic components using hand tools and soldering equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Perform functional testing to verify repairs.
• Complete repair documentation and work orders according to FAA requirements.
• Track repairs and parts using an ERP system.
• Manage multiple repair projects and priorities.
