Job summary

Responsibilities include diagnosing electronic assemblies, functional testing, soldering, replacing through-hole and surface-mount components, reading schematics, and documenting repairs in ERP systems in compliance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electronics troubleshooting/repair experience.
• Experience reading electronic schematics or wiring diagrams.
• Soldering/desoldering of through-hole and surface-mount components.
• FAA repair experience or MRO background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic assemblies and circuit boards to the component level.
• Perform functional testing of avionics control panels and electronic assemblies.
• Utilize oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, function generators, and avionics test equipment.
• Repair and replace defective through-hole and surface-mount components.
• Perform soldering and desoldering using standard electronics repair equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and test procedures.
• Document repairs and work in ERP with FAA traceability requirements.
• Track and close repair work orders in ERP.

Avionics Repair Technician II | Aerospace / Avionics

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Repair Technician II to join a well-established aerospace/avionics manufacturer. This position will focus on the component-level troubleshooting, repair, and testing of avionics communication, navigation, and flight-control equipment, including TCAS, audio, ADF, ATC, and related control panels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic assemblies and circuit boards to the component level
• Perform functional testing of avionics control panels and electronic assemblies
• Utilize oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, function generators, and specialized avionics test equipment
• Repair and replace defective through-hole and surface-mount electronic components
• Perform soldering and desoldering using standard electronics repair equipment
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and test procedures
• Document repairs, parts removal/installation, and work performed in accordance with FAA traceability requirements
• Track and close repair work orders within an ERP system

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of electronics troubleshooting/repair experience
• Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and related electronic test equipment
• Ability to read and troubleshoot from electronic schematics
• Experience with soldering, desoldering, through-hole, and/or surface-mount components
• Avionics, aerospace, FAA repair station, or MRO experience strongly preferred
• Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent military/technical trade experience
