Job summary

Andritz Inc. is seeking a Service Mechanic responsible for service and repairs of High Speed Separators and Decanters. The role involves shop repairs at the Service Center with occasional travel to customer sites, roughly 10% travel.

Requires disassembly, inspection, and precise measurement using specialized tools. Qualifying candidates have a high school diploma, specialized technician certification, and experience with vibration analysis, alignment, and balancing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or above.
• Certification as a skilled technician in a technical field (centrifuges, transmissions, food machinery, turbines, etc.).
• Experience with vibration analysis, alignment and balancing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and inspect machines to determine repair scope.
• Perform diagnostic tests and vibration analysis.
• Read engineering drawings and inspect with precision tools.
• Balance rotating assemblies and perform complete mechanical repairs.
• Travel to customer sites for field service and installations.
