Job summary

Aerzen USA Corp. in Katy, TX is seeking a Repair Technician to disassemble and evaluate incoming blowers and compressors, diagnose issues, and perform skilled repairs.

You will prepare reports and communicate actions to customers as needed. The role requires 1-3 years of mechanical experience with rotating equipment, high school diploma, welding and forklift certifications, and willingness to travel 10-20% to customers.

Qualifications

• Tear down and evaluate incoming equipment to assess damage and identify root causes.
• Apply mechanical skills and use shop tools safely on rotating equipment.
• Identify Aerzen products and understand their use for customer applications.
• Assemble Aerzen products per procedures with accuracy and quality.
• Repair or rebuild blowers (3S-240S) using basic rebuild kits.
• Repair or rebuild blowers (HV 10-15) using basic rebuild kits.
• Read diagrams and checklists to perform repairs per standards.
• Prepare written repair reports documenting failure causes and work performed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and utilize proper mechanical skills and safe tool handling.
• Identify Aerzen products and understand their use for customer applications.
• Assemble Aerzen products per company procedures with accuracy and quality.

• Repair/rebuild blowers using standard rebuild kits (HV 10-15).
• Read diagrams, checklists, and process docs to guide repairs.
• Prepare written repair reports documenting causes, work performed, and condition on return.
