Launch Your Career in a Skilled Construction Trade!

Full Service Chimney™ offers a Registered Apprenticeship for Fireplace and Chimney Repair Technicians, with a pathway to Journeyman‑level leadership within 18–24 months. Through paid on‑the‑job training, you will build skills in this specialized trade, take on a greater role, and work toward becoming a future team leader who helps train incoming apprentices.

Do you have an interest in leading people and taking initiative? If you want a career where effort turns into trust, and trust turns into leadership over time, this may be the right fit. We are hiring intentionally for long‑term growth, not short‑term turnover, because consistency and commitment truly matter here. We are a tight‑knit group that makes big things happen daily. We hold ourselves accountable and expect the same from all members of our team.

A Career Path for People Who Want Responsibility, Not Just a Job

As a Repair Technician Apprentice, you’ll begin as an assistant. This is a physically active, hands‑on role in a specialized skilled construction trade for people who want more than routine work and know they do not belong at a desk. You can build valuable skills and earn trust through hard work, accountability, and a willingness to learn. The apprenticeship is not just training for one job—it is the foundation for a long‑term career path that can lead to multiple future roles as our company grows and new positions are created.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist senior technicians with inspections, repairs, and installations
  • Learn brick masonry, welding, concrete, and gain more advanced skills
  • Safely work at heights (ladders, scaffolding, rooftops) year‑round
  • Operate tools and handle physical tasks such as lifting and material handling
  • Help repair and reline fireplaces, chimneys, and venting systems
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment

See What’s Possible:

Here’s what this team member had to say in his own words:

“I joined Full Service Chimney in November 2025, and I can honestly say it has already given me more opportunity than I’ve found anywhere else. Before coming here, I was making only $16 an hour and working seven 12‑hour shifts a week. After my first raise in January, another at my 90‑day mark on February 16, and another after earning my certification, I’m now a Certified Lead Repair Technician with the opportunity to earn lead pay and additional compensation beyond my regular pay. In December, I was taking home $1,800 per paycheck, and by August that had grown to $2,200 per paycheck. I also now have dental, eye, and health insurance for myself and am getting ready to add my family to the coverage as well; plus I get weekends off. I feel like I’m just getting started here, and Full Service Chimney feels like a place with real opportunity for growth, advancement, and a better future.”

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong math skills and the ability to read a tape measure
  • Construction or labor experience is a plus, but not required
  • Physical stamina to work outdoors in all weather
  • Reliable daily commute to Spring Hill, KS, or willingness to relocate
  • Team‑oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • Trade school education, JROTC/ROTC, or military experience is a plus (not required)
  • Ideal Candidates Are: Willing to hold themselves accountable to own the outcomes of their work
  • Problem‑solvers who ask questions and apply new skills quickly
  • Positive, dependable, and detail‑oriented
  • Motivated individuals seeking long‑term career growth
  • The type to stay ready and ask, “What’s next?”
