Epson America Inc. in the Indianapolis area is seeking an Associate Repair Tech to join our fast-paced repair depot. The role involves performing repairs, inspecting units, reading service procedures, and upgrading firmware under supervision.

This on-site position operates on 1st shift with hours 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with some overtime. We offer comprehensive benefits starting day one, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan, plus tuition

• Perform repairs on units under direct or limited supervision, following written work instructions.
• Inspect unit housing to assess repairable vs. non-repairable damage.
• Read and follow technical service procedures to evaluate unit performance.
• Inspect test prints or images and interpret results.

• Access diagnostic programs and enter data in reporting systems.
• Maintain efficiency, yield and quality standards while performing tasks.
• Accurately maintain electronic and paper records.
• Support depot operations by performing other duties as assigned.

What You Will Be Doing

As an Associate Repair Tech, you will play a key role in our repair depot operations by:

• Performing repairs on units under direct or limited supervision, following written work instructions
• Inspecting unit housing (internal and external) to assess repairable vs. non-repairable damage
• Reading and following technical service procedures to evaluate unit performance
• Inspecting and accurately interpreting test prints or images
• Performing firmware upgrades
• Conducting final testing to confirm repair results
• Accessing and using diagnostic programs
• Entering data using available reporting systems
• Maintaining efficiency, yield, and quality standards while performing assigned tasks
• Accurately maintaining electronic and paper records
• Supporting depot operations by performing other duties as assigned by management

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $19.00 and $21.00/hr. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
