Job summary

Elevated Facility Services is seeking a skilled elevator technician to install, maintain, and repair elevators and escalators across multiple sites. The role requires reading technical drawings, independence, strong troubleshooting, and on-call availability for emergencies.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a Certified Elevator Technician degree or Elevator Mechanic License, plus a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Elevator Technician degree or Elevator Mechanic License is required or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
• Must be available to work on an on-call basis for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Installs new elevators and escalators, including electrical work, wiring, and programming of control systems.
• Maintains and repairs elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation equipment.
• Performs routine maintenance such as oiling, cleaning mechanical parts, and inspecting safety devices.
• Responds to emergency calls and makes repairs quickly and efficiently.
• Updates and maintains records of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Conducts safety audits and ensures equipment meets safety standards and regulations.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Installs new elevators & escalators, including electrical work, wiring, and programming of control systems.
• Maintains and repairs elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation equipment.
• Performs routine maintenance, such as oiling & cleaning mechanical parts, and inspecting safety devices.
• Responds to emergency calls and makes repairs quickly and efficiently.
