Job summary

Elevated Facility Services is seeking a skilled Elevator Technician to install, maintain, and repair elevators and escalators for commercial clients in our service areas. You will interpret technical drawings and work independently to diagnose issues and execute repairs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Elevator Technician degree or Elevator Mechanic License is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• On-call availability for emergencies is required.

Responsibilities

• Install elevators & escalators, including electrical work and programming of control systems.
• Maintain and repair elevators, escalators and other vertical transportation equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, oiling and cleaning of mechanical parts, and inspect safety devices.
• Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs quickly and efficiently.
• Update and maintain records of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Conduct safety audits and ensure equipment meets safety standards and regulations.
• Stay current with advancements in elevator technology and industry regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Installs new elevators & escalators, including electrical work, wiring, and programming of control systems.
• Maintains and repairs elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation equipment.
• Performs routine maintenance, such as oiling & cleaning mechanical parts, and inspecting safety devices.
• Responds to emergency calls and makes repairs quickly and efficiently.
• Updates and maintains records of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Conducts safety audits and ensures that all equipment meets safety standards and regulations.

Requirements
