MDMartin LLC is seeking an experienced MB Repair Tech L1 in Grapevine, TX. The role focuses on diagnosing motherboard issues at the component level, performing solder work, and ensuring repaired boards pass tests before handoff to the test team.

Responsibilities include following repair instructions, maintaining documentation for ESD audits, and meeting KPI targets. A background in electronics and basic tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes are desired.

Competenze

• High school graduate or equivalent; electronics field preferred.
• Prefer over 6 months experience in computer repair or related field.
• Must have Excel knowledge and ability to read instructions and track data.

Mansioni

The MB Repair Tech L1 is responsible for troubleshooting MB at component level. The assignment will be ranging from doing diagnostics, isolating MB issue, replacing components, soldering and fixing MB.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties not listed may be assigned.

Daily Responsibilities % of Job 90%

• Identify MB problem and narrow down issue.
• Check for CID and make sure the MB is repairable before repair is performed.
• Troubleshoot MBs and repair.
• Follow repair instructions and operational procedures.
• Perform solder work on component level as needed.
• Check for excessive flux residue and solder and clean using alcohol and cloth.
• Check for cold and short solder pads.
• Check for Solder Bridge.
• Check for shifted pads and pins.
• Check for correct polarity.
• Do quick test to make sure MB is good before sending to test team.
• Organize good parts and non-conforming parts.
• Organize repair tooling and mockup.
• Meet and exceed KPI defined to meet the business and operational requirement.
• Turn in KPI report on time, end of the working day.
• Check and keep record for ESD Audit daily.
• Utilize the companys time to be efficient and productive. This is including the punctuality from break and personal matter.
• When required, work assignment can changed based on project needs like inspection, solder, testing, data input.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Be able to meet KPI 30/day.

: Qualifications

Education or Experience or Demonstrated Skill Set

• High school graduate or equivalent. Prefer college degree in related electronics field.
• Prefer over 6 Months experience in computer repair or related field.
• Must have Excel knowledge and experience to read instructions and track data.
• Demonstrated skill set while working with Temp Agency

Working Conditions

Must be able to tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse environment. Office and outside environmental conditions found in the warehouse, hot in the summer, cold in the winter. Individuals may need to walk for an extensive period of time while working and walking the facilities; to reach over shoulder heights; bend or stoop below the waist; repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
