Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot server motherboard (MB) problems at component level.
• Follow repair instructions and procedures to repair Server MBs.
• Perform soldering on components as needed.
• Check for flux residue, clean with alcohol and cloth.
• Inspect for solder bridges, shifted pads, and polarity issues.
• Conduct quick tests to validate repair before sending to test team.
• Maintain organized parts and repair tooling; document KPI data.
• Adhere to safety and ESD procedures in a warehouse setting.

The assignment will be ranging from doing diagnostics, isolating Server MB issue, replacing components, soldering and fixing Server MB.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties not listed may be assigned.**Daily Responsibilities % of Job – 90%* Identify Server MB problem and narrow down issue.* Check for CID and make sure the Server MB is repairable before repair is performed.* Troubleshoot Server MBs and repair.* Follow repair instructions and operational procedures.* Perform solder work on component level as needed.* Check for excessive flux residue and solder and clean using alcohol and cloth.* Check for cold and short solder pads.* Check for Solder Bridge.* Check for shifted pads and pins.* Check for correct polarity.* Do quick test to make sure Server MB is good before sending to test team.* Organize good parts and non-conforming parts.* Organize repair tooling and mockup.* Meet and exceed KPI defined to meet the business and operational requirement.* Turn in KPI report on time, end of the working day.* Check and keep record for ESD Audit daily.* Utilize the company’s time to be efficient and productive.
