MDMartin Corporate – DALLAS, TX 75234 – Full‑time, $19.00–$22.00 per hour. Day shift.

Job Overview

The MB Repair Tech L1 is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, isolating, and repairing motherboards (MB) at component level. Duties include diagnostics, component replacement, soldering, and testing. The role performs daily repair tasks and supports warehouse efficiency and team environment.

Daily Responsibilities

• Identify MB problems and narrow down issues.
• Check for CID and confirm repairability before repair.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of MBs.
• Follow repair instructions and operational procedures.
• Do component‑level solder work as needed.
• Inspect flux residue, cold solder joints, solder bridges, shifted pads or pins, and polarity.
• Perform quick test to verify MB quality before sending to the test team.
• Organize good parts, non‑conforming parts, repair tooling, and mock‑ups.
• Meet and exceed KPI requirements; submit KPI report at end of the day.
• Maintain ESD audit records daily.
• Use company time efficiently, maintain punctuality.
• Adjust assignments as needed for inspection, solder, testing, or data input.
• Meet a daily KPI target of 30 repairs.

Warehouse Efficiencies (5%)

• Build and maintain a positive work environment with open feedback and two‑way communication.
• Keep the warehouse organized and clean at all times.

Qualifications – Education / Experience / Skills

• High school graduate or equivalent; college degree in related electronics field preferred.
• Prefer over 6 months of experience in computer repair or related field.
• Must have Excel knowledge for reading instructions and tracking data.
• Demonstrated skill set while working with a temp agency (if applicable).

Working Conditions

Must tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse environment. Conditions include hot summer and cold winter temperatures, frequent walking, reaching over shoulder heights, bending or stooping below the waist, repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Schedule – First Shift

• Monday – Friday, 6:45am – 3:15pm.
• Monday – Friday, 3:30pm – 12:00am (night shift).
