Job summary

Ocean Springs Tech, Inc. is seeking a skilled pool technician to diagnose and repair residential and commercial pool systems.

You will diagnose repairs, select parts, install pumps, filters, heaters, lights, and automated controls while ensuring timely and accurate billing in collaboration with the accounting team. You will read manuals, maintain safety standards, and interact with customers with a service-first attitude.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver license.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Read/write reports and solve basic math problems.
• Ability to drive standard transmission vehicle.
• Must pass background and drug test.
• Must be able to swim.
• Bilingual English and Spanish a Plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Provide preferred tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose pool repair needs and determine needed parts and equipment to complete repair.
• Complete repairs and installations of Pumps, Filters, Heaters and pool cleaning equipment.
• Repair tile, assist in remodels, repair plumbing, salt systems, electrical, Intelli-touch, easy touch, switches, replace complete skimmers, etc.
• Able to read and comprehend manuals.
• Report completed work to Accounting department to ensure fast and accurate billing.
• Maintain quality results by adhering to company standards.
• Able to install pool lighting and to program and manage automated systems (pool controls).
• Ability to work independently and with little to no supervision in a safe and smart manner.
• Complete designated work within assigned timeline.
• Participates in Company sponsored continuing education classes.
• Interface with employees and clients at different levels.

About the Role:

Position Purpose

To provide high quality repairs to residential and commercial accounts by diagnosing pool repairs, conducting trouble-shooting, documenting all repairs, and working closely with Accounting Department to ensure proper billing is conducted in a timely manner.

5 days a week 6am-2:30 a.m.
Must be available to work weekends
Overtime might be needed
