RTX is seeking a Repair Design Engineer (RDE) to join the Cases & Composites Group within the Global Services Engineering. You will develop repairs for commercial gas turbine engine parts, write repair concepts, obtain FAA approvals, and coordinate with end users to ensure safety, durability, and OEM quality.

You will work with cross-functional teams, support program priorities, and ensure repair tasks stay on schedule and budget in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math.
• Travel up to 10%.
• Exposure to cost and schedule management or team leadership preferred.
• Experience with machining, plating, plasma spray, welding or brazing.
• Experience using CAD tools such as Unigraphics/NX or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Develop repairs for commercial gas turbine engine parts and write the repair concept.
• Obtain internal and FAA regulatory approvals and coordinate with the end user.
• Ensure repairs are safe, durable and meet OEM quality requirements.
