Job summary

Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is seeking a production team member to fill orders to client specifications in a warehouse environment. The role requires packing boxes, verifying quality, and assembling pallets with correct counts while adhering to safety and cgmp standards.

Responsibilities include communicating issues to supervisors, meeting output goals, and following 5S housekeeping. Flexibility for overtime and long shifts is expected, with emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to read/write English, interpret numerical sequences and communicate production issues.
• Two years previous high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill orders efficiently to specifications.
• Pack boxes with correct units and verify quality.
• Stack boxes according to pallet patterns and verify identifications.
• Identify and communicate mechanical or safety issues to Supervisor.
• Meet production output goals for assigned product or process.
• Follow procedures and tool usage for salt hanging.
• Maintain housekeeping and support 5S in the plant.
• Contribute ideas to improve safety, processes and performance.
• Participate in cross training to build flexibility.
• Complete required trainings and paperwork to cgmp standards.
