Job summary

Richelieu Foods is seeking a Production Staff member at our Wisconsin facility. The role supports the pizza production line, performing duties from crust handling to boxing, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency during a 10-hour shift schedule, Monday through Saturday.

Ideal candidates can stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds regularly (and up to 70 occasionally), and rotate through multiple line stations as needed to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow verbal/written instructions and perform tasks accurately.
• Able to stand for long production shifts and handle repetitive motions.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate and change over pizza production line as assigned.
• Assist with crust, boxing, and packing sections as needed.
• Maintain inventory counts of ingredients and finished products.
• Check dates and communicate equipment or process problems to supervision.
• Maintain GMPs, sanitation, and safety procedures; rotate to different line stations.

We provide products to many national retailers, wholesalers, distributors, club and mass stores, as well as industrial accounts including other food manufacturers.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for effective continuous operation and change-over of pizza production line.Must be versatile to work between the crust and boxing end of the production line which may include laying pizza crust on the line, stacking pizzas and/or packing pizzas in boxes.Be able to keep track of inventories, counts of ingredients and finished products.Check and communicate code dates to other workers.Timely notification to Maintenance and Supervision of equipment problems.Notify Supervision of actual or potential problems.Must be able to follow verbal instructions from Supervision.Responsible for complying with GMP’s, maintaining proper sanitation and housekeeping in area.Responsible for use of required safety equipment and complying with proper safety procedures.Must be able to lift up to 40lbs. regularly and handle wood pallets up to 70lbs. occasionally.Be able to rotate to various jobs on Pizza line which may include frequent bending, twisting, lifting.Other duties as may be assigned by Management or volunteered for.Must be able to stand up to 10 hours per dayPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.Essential Skills and AbilitiesAbility to work under direct supervision and to follow instructions and techniques.Working ConditionsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and power industrial truck.The employee is frequently exposed to cold, wet and/or humid conditions.The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for the duration of the production shift; talk or hear; use hands or finger to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.The employee is frequently required to walk.The employee is infrequently required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 70 pounds.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkProduction Staff’s base schedule is Monday – Saturday rotating schedule of four to six days at 10-hour shifts.Pay and BenefitsThe following information is provided in accordance with applicable state and local laws. Compensation is based on experience, geographic locations, and other legally permitted factors. The starting hourly rate is $17.25.
