Job summary

US Foods in Norcross, GA is seeking a Repack Clerk to join our warehouse team. This full-time role starts at $25/hour and operates Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with overtime possible.

The job includes responsibilities such as repacking, inventory control, and ensuring product integrity. Responsibilities include evaluating damaged items, documenting lot numbers, and keeping the area clean.

Qualifications

• Assist with tracking of dated products to minimize product loss due to date issues.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Assist with reducing inventory shrink and improving warehouse organization.

Evaluate damaged product for disposition (repack for sale, salvage, dump). Repack damaged product determined to be saleable.

Record proper information on repackaged product (lot #, date, etc.) whether for sale or salvage.

Properly record all dumped product.

Assist with tracking of dated products to minimize product lost due to date issues.

Keep work area clean and organized.

Other duties as assigned.

Education / Training

• High School Diploma/GED

Related Experience / Requirements

• Warehouse experience/foodservice product & processes knowledge preferred.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to work independently.
• Safely operate electric pallet jack.
• Good communication skills – written and oral.
• Working knowledge of Excel.
• Willing and able to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
• Must be dependable.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.

Compensation

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $22.00 and $25.00.

This role may also receive overtime pay.
