US Foods is seeking a General Warehouse Associate at the Chicago Stock Yards location in Aurora, IL. The role involves picking and packing orders to spec, scanning product data, and organizing pallets for efficient production flow.
You will work in a refrigerated environment and may require overtime. A high school diploma or GED and basic math/reading skills are expected, with 6 months warehouse experience preferred, including operable pallet jacks and forklifts.

Location is at Chicago Stock Yards in Aurora, IL
1st shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm OT and Saturdays as needed.

The incumbent is required to interact with employees, customers, and vendors at all levels of responsibility throughout the company in a professional manner.
Must be able to work continually in a refrigerated environment 35°F- 45°F or in the warehouse where temperatures could get up to 95°F.
Must be able to work for periods of time in a freezer environment -10°F to +10°F with company provided apparel.
Finish time is when work is completed and could require overtime with or without notice.
The work environment is cool, wet and refrigerated with temperatures ranging from 35°F- 45°F degrees Fahrenheit in the coolers; 10°F to +10°F degrees Fahrenheit in the freezers or could get up to 95°F degrees Fahrenheit in the warehouse.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $19.00 and $21.45 hr. As applicable, this role may also receive overtime compensation.
