Sysco Northeast RDC in Wisconsin is seeking a position focused on salvaging, recouping and repacking products. Responsibilities include assessing damaged items, reducing shrink, and coordinating with warehouse management for proper packaging from vendors.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months of related warehouse distribution experience, and are 18+ with the ability to pass employment testing. Strong math and computer skills are expected.

JOB SUMMARY

This is a finance position that is responsible for salvaging, recouping and repacking products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess and sort all damaged products for recouping.
• Collaborate directly with warehouse management to control shrink.
• Cooperate indirectly with merchandising to ensure proper packaging from vendors.
• Assist with developing a reconciliation program.
• Work with inventory control to assist in reducing company shrink.
• Keep the area clean and neat at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent preferred.

Experience

• 1-3 months of related warehouse distribution experience preferred.

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Pass employment testing

• Able to read, write and communicate effectively, as it relates to the job and the safety regulations.
• Can read a limited number of two and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Able to print and speak simple sentences.
