Job Description

The Microscopy Technical Sales Representative II is a technical expert and solutions provider to our materials sciences customers. You will create microscopy solutions for customers across various industries and applications, demonstrating equipment at customer sites, showrooms, and virtually. Success requires expertise in microscopy or similar technical products used by industrial customers.

You will develop a value proposition aligned with customer objectives, collaborate with technical experts, and implement strategies to achieve sales goals. This role offers opportunities for career and financial growth.

Job Duties
  • Proactively schedule sales calls to demonstrate our solutions.
  • Work directly with customers to develop application solutions.
  • Manage customer relationships to maximize spending.
  • Maintain high customer activity levels to grow the sales pipeline.
  • Create and execute targeted sales campaigns.
  • Lead strategic sales plans to convert customers to Evident products.
  • Utilize technical specialists and market experts to close sales.
  • Develop and execute a sales growth plan for your territory.
  • Continuously learn about new sales techniques, products, and applications.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least one year of experience in capital equipment sales or similar.
  • Knowledge of industrial microscopy, optical metrology, or semiconductor equipment is a plus.
Skills
  • Ability to learn instruments, software, and microscopy applications.
  • Understanding manufacturing processes and how Evident products solve customer needs.
  • Proven success in B2B sales environments.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM and sales tools.
  • Self-motivated and business-oriented.
Additional Considerations
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% within the territory.
  • Must be a U.S. Person and able to provide proof of status due to export control regulations.
